TOUR OVERVIEW
The Surin Islands Marine National Park holds some of the most breathtaking underwater treasures of the Andaman Sea. The Marine Park includes 5 islands and covers about 141 km² with amazing 80% of it under water! This isolated archipelago lies about 100 km north of Khao Lak and approximately 100 km from the border to Myanmar.
In 2004 the Surin Islands Marine National Park was declared an Andaman Asian Heritage Site.
The islands are covered with lush vegetation and only inhabited by Moken, so called sea gypsies, residing here in the northern Andaman Sea.
Peaceful and tranquil, various wildlife can be found on the islands.
Less known than the Similans and further away, the Surins are less crowded, giving you a more relaxed island and snorkeling experience!
Snorkeling day trips are available to this isolated archipelago surrounded by turquoise, warm waters. You have the chance swim with turtles and admire the pristine reefs fringing the coast.
This exploration of the Surin Islands will give you another amazing day to add to your holiday memories.
Special Remark for Speedboat Tours:
Pregnant women and children younger than 1 year old cannot participate in any of the speedboat tours. To prevent accidents, all guests should sit in the rear part of the boat; sitting in the open front part is on everybody’s own risk.
