TOUR OVERVIEW
If you like to have close contact with these amazing gentle giants, then come with us for a different elephant experience.
The first 30 minutes you are making friends with the elephants by talking to them, taking photos and feeding banana, sugarcane or pineapple (whatever the camp offers that day). . . That’s a nice and appreciated variation to the usual greens (mainly pineapple leaves) they otherwise feed.
Then, with the assistance of the mahout (elephant caretaker) you jump into the natural pool to bathe for 30 minutes with these beautiful animals. Give them a good scrub. . . they love it, especially the top of the head and back, areas they can’t reach on their own! And if you are really lucky they take a trunk full of water and give you a nice shower. It becomes very obvious that elephants love the water play!
What an amazing experience!
